Andre’ J. Wesson, CEO and Creative Director
Mr. Wesson is the founder of Se7enth Swan Publishing Group, LLC. As CEO and Creative Director, he is responsible for guiding company growth, monitoring product development, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding brand awareness. Mr. Wesson graduated with a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His specific area of study was Public Relations.
Before founding the company in May 2005, Mr. Wesson served as a pre-kindergarten teacher for the “More at Four” Program—a North Carolina based Pre-K program for at-risk four year olds. The majority of his students were African American and Hispanic. This experience afforded Mr. Wesson the opportunity to work daily with 4 and 5 year olds, assessing learning patterns and interests, and ultimately exploring creative methods which stimulated their desires to learn. He was also able to converse, daily, with parents and educators regarding ways to better serve these youth.
